Luna’s quest

Prologue

A silver wolf sat on top of the waterfall, she sighed. The black night sky had covered the day like a blanket, the many silver eyes that form stars shone down on her. Her white paws sparkled in the heel deep water. She had white spots on her right ear and on the right side of her face, her tail and chest had white streaks all over them. She lifted her violet gaze to the small lily growing on the side of the cliff. Its purple and pink petals danced in the wind, swaying gently from side to side. The wolf slowly lifted her petite paw towards it and plucked off a small petal.

She gradually lifted it to her delightfully charming face, it was wilting away. She let out a lengthy howl up to the appealingly sweet moon. Its Luna rays beamed onto her fur, showing the beautifully moist droplets of dew that clung to it. The moon’s luminous reflection glowed in the river, as it rushed over the edge of the cliff and plummeted to earth. The silver wolf raised her head to look straight at the moon, her lily purple eyes gleaming in its soothing light.

A small human came dancing down, every second it took, it transformed into a dazzlingly beautiful white wolf. “I am the moon goddess Luna,” the she wolf said, speaking softly and clearly towards the silver wolf.
“The wolf flower is dying!” the sliver one cried, but the snow one hushed her.
“Do not worry my dear child, I have a descendent. Her name is also Luna, she is a werewolf. Her tears can save the wolf flower,” the snowy white wolf said sweetly. The sliver one looked up at her, “Do not worry my child, Luna will find her way here, that I can promise you,” she said smiling sweetly.
“But if she does not? You know what will happen! It will...” The silvery moon wolf asked apprehensively.
“Do not fret Moonflower, she will. She is strong, she is tough, she is a wolf, a wolf at heart,” the white one said, before slowly beginning to drift away into the night sky.

“Wait, I want to know more!” Moonflower cried out, but the moon wolf was gone. Moonflower looked up into the breath taking nights’ sky. She let out a long, depressing sigh. She kicked the water, sending long ripples along its surface, with her front paw. “Why are these things never clear?” she yowled out. She pulled herself out of the water and went to sit next to the wolf flower. She laid next to it, staring hard into its petals. It was weeping slowly, its petals glowing in the moon light.

Moonflower grunted and got to her white paws, a rustle behind her made her jump. It was just a small rabbit, she lunged forward and gripped its neck. She bit down hard, killing it off swiftly. She lifted it, her mouth filled with warm blood, the scent filling her nostrils. She began to realize how hungry she was and ate it, enjoying the sweeping flavours. She buried the bones, licking the crimson blood from her paws. She looked up into the face of the luminous moon, hoping, the she wolf would appear and take away the nightmare that was slowly unfolding around her. She cried out and hid her head in her paws, hoping it would all just go away.
She opened her eyes to see a diminutive little lilac petal that sat on the ground, underneath one of her claws. She pulled her claws in, slicing the petal into two neat halves and peered down on them. Both had been sliced into the shape of a crescent moon. She looked up into the dawning sky, the nights’ star slowly hiding away the day, the moon slowly fading out of sight. “Don’t go! Don’t leave me this mess! Please no!!!!! Don’t leave...” Moonflower cried, but the moon was gone.

Chapter 1

Luna woke to the sound of the seagulls chirping in her ear. She stretched when she climbed slowly off her mess of a bed. She ran her fingers through her light blond hair, it stretching down to her knees. The sun catching the honey highlights in its rays coming through the blinds on the window. Her bright green eyes looked around for anything out of the ordinary; she jumped, her hair falling moments after her body. A small leather skinned water bottle, with a light blue, silver crescent shaped moon on it, was on her bedside table.

Luna stared at it before moving closer to it. She stretched out a petite finger and gradually laid her finger on it. She curved her hand around it to pick It up. A small piece of paper was on the back. ‘Every time you cry, your tears will be collected her.’ Luna looked at it then hit herself really hard. She let her eyes water and the tears drop. As the first one dropped, it catching the sun’s rays as it did, there was a small white flash around it and it as gone. After 5 minutes Luna stopped crying and opened the bottle. A small bit of water was glistening inside, looking up at her. She gasped and dropped the bottle, slowly moving back. “LLLUUUNNNAAA!” Her mother cried, “Your gonna be late for school!” Luna looked at it once more before going to the bathroom.
Luna looked at herself in the mirror. Her long blond hair was tied up in a bun, neatly in a Japanese style. A bit of light mascara covered her eyelashes and some fruity lip gloss. She smelt the air. “yum cherry.” She said before turning to run down the stair to grab her breakfast. She twisted at the bottom of the stairs, but her jumper got caught. “GAH!” She cried, being yanked back. She whirled around and pulled her jumper off the banister before running into the kitchen.

A small plate sat in front of Luna’s chair, empty. She looked down at it, depressed. “Mum! Where are my pancakes?!” She cried.
“In the shop dear, I need to go get some food in!” Her mother cried back. Luna sighed and got up. She trudged over to the fridge and carefully opened the door. The slightest gust of cold wind escaped as Luna quickly stuck her hand in and pulled out a yogurt. She grabbed a metal spoon and ripped off the lid. She slowly ate it, sighed.

“Friday morning.” She sighed.
Luna looked out of the bus window watching as the country side sped past her. The autumn styled bus raced down the road, dodging the traffic, heading for school. Luna sat straight up as the woman came down the aisle. “Tickets”
“Aren’t you meant to say please?” Luna asked sweetly. The woman looked at her and snorted. Luna sighed and gave her the ticket. The woman took it and placed it in her pocket. “It’s a return ticket!” Luna cried after her, only just realising. The woman looked at her and threw a small ticket at her and grunted. Luna sighed and slumped into her chair.

Luna jumped up as the bus pulled to a halt. “Yes!” She cried, running out. She leaped off the bus onto the recently paved stone pavement. She looked around. The big school was built over 100 years ago, and it still looked older. Luna looked up at the spiky thing at the top of the building. Apparently, a couple years ago a boy had thrown himself off of it. Luna sighed. School was depressing. Vanni was coming up the drive, slowly, her short black hair bouncing off her shoulders. Luna stood there smirking at her, Vanni grinning, her dark brown eyes fixed on Luna. Luna resisted a giggle as Vanni stumbled and then she broke into a run. Luna grinned and turned around and began to walk to the other gate to meet the other two.

Luna and Vanni walked down to the school gates to meet Tim and Tommo. Tim was a averagely tall boy with night black hair. He had soft brown eyes and was extremely fast. Tommo on the other hand was a bit on the short side and a bit frumpy, but as Vanni said, more of Tommo to hug. He had cute blue eyes that shone like crystals in the sun or moon light. Tim and Tommo were best friends; they did everything together, kind of like Luna and Vanni.
Tommo came slowly running up the drive. Luna and Vanni jogged towards him but stopped as he fell. They both giggled as he got to his feet and ran over to them. Vanni sighed. "Tommo, you can’t help getting yourself into trouble can you?” Vanni asked, Luna almost bursting into laughter. Vanni gave her a look and Luna pulled herself together. She ran a slim finger through her blond hair, it staying up in its bob. “What’s up with up Luna? You never have you hair up!?” Vanni asked laughing. “It’s P.E. I have to have it tied up so I though, it might as well look good.” She laughed.

Tim was running up the drive, his night hair bouncing off his forehead. Luna greeted him with a quick hug, enjoying the three second she got. He smiled. Luna looked into his deep brown eyes. “You haven’t done your homework have you?” Luna asked. “Bloody hell!” Tim cried, realizing. Luna giggled. “I’ll let you copy mine.” She said happily as they began to walk up to the English block. Luna looked up. “Oh No! Mr Causal! Please say our teachers here.” Luna pleaded with thin air and the slowly trudged into the block.

Luna sat up straight in her chair. The murky classroom was filled with dowdy and unhappy faces. Luna looked around the room. Jessica parson was trying to hard with her make-up. Cash would easily notice. Tom curt had his arm in a sling, an injury he had received by rugby no doubt and oh no! Vicky person had copied her hairstyle! Luna let her brain take a mental note to get back at her when to door burst open. “You’re late!” Mr Cash boomed at the top of his voice and then he spun around to face the class. He had a lot of scuffles of hair, more on his face. Luna shuddered. His beady blue eyes scanned the room. “Alex Dorson, you’re chewing! Jessica Parson! You’re wearing make-up. And Luna...” He leaned in closer to her. “You’re wearing cherry lip gloss. I want it off. Now!”

Luna was in the school bathrooms, reapplying her make-up. She spread a lot of cherry lip gloss over her lips, smacking them together to make bubble noises. Vanni was next to her, putting on some black eyeliner. “How did Cash know?” She asked, spell bound.
“He’s a teacher on a mission, he misses nothing.” Luna laughed. Vanni laughed to. Tim’s voice came through the door.
“You ladies done?” It asked.
“Almost!” Luna cried back. She looked at Vanni and rolled her eyes. Vanni giggled and grabbed her bag. Luna picked hers up and the two walked out of the door.

“Finally!” Tim cried. He raced out off to meet Ellis, Ewen and Nathan. Tommo looked at Vanni and Vanni smiled.
“Are you sure you’re telling me everything?” Luna smirked at Vanni.
“Yeah! We are just friends!” She cried. Luna shrugged her shoulder and looked onwards towards the field. She ran down the hill, pushing Ellis, and he broke into a fall, rolling down the hill. Luna laughed as they ran down. Luna looked around before shifting, so she had a tail. The she fully shifted to a wolf.

Luna was a cute white wolf, with different brown shades of a crescent moon all over her. She had 17 in total. She had her brilliant green eyes still. Vicky person was practicing cheerleading. “Watch this.” Luna mouthed to the group. She slowly approached them, in her hunters crouch before leaping on Vicky, pinning her and ripping out a big chunk of her hair. Vicky let out a ear breaking scream and tried to push Luna off. All the cheerleaders scattered. Luna smirked and began to drool over Vicky’s hair till it was a wreck.

When she was done Luna got up from her mess and trotted over to the girls room. She went in and all the screaming girls came running out, Luna joining them. She went over to her group. “Fun eh?” She said laughing at Vicky hair. Vicky got out her pocket mirror and looked into it, letting out another ear splitting scream. She raced to the girl’s room. Luna laughed out loud, Ellis and Nathan rolling on the grass laughing really hard, holding their sides. Then head came racing out, his bold head shining in the sunlight.
“Where’s the wolf!” He cried. Luna and her group shrugged.
“If you ask me sir, I think there over reacting, must have had a late night or a bad dream.” Luna said, keeping a straight face. Luna lied well, she always did.

Luna ran up to the sports hall, and lined up in the girls line. Vicky was in the bathroom, trying to comb out the wolf drool from her hair. Luna giggled at the state of her as she climbed the hill to the sports hall. She heard the boy mutter and murmur. “I heard a wolf got her.” And “She’s gone from hot to not.” The girls giggled and some of the boys laughed. Alice and Bethany tried to sort out her hair, but the wolf drool had gone hard and it was all stuck up. Luna laughed as Miss cherry came out.

Miss Cherry was not tall, but she wasn’t short. She had her long brown hair tied back in a bun, a tidy cut bun and her honey glazed amber eyes shone in the sunlight. “Come on girls, let’s get this line sorted!” She yelled sweetly. The girls moved into a straight line. “Ok, all in.” Miss Cherry said, opening the door. The girls ran in Luna waving bye to Tim and Tommo. She raced into the changing room and got dress into the schools shabby P.E kit. They lined up waiting to go out of the sports hall. “Today girls.” Miss Cherry began, but stopped right in front of Luna. “Luna is that cherry lip gloss?” She asked quietly. Luna nodded sheepishly. “Nice. Today we where meant to be going for a 5 mile jog around the school felid, but I though rounder’s would be better.” The girls all cheered and raced outside.

Luna was up to bat. She stood there, the wooden bat in her left hand. She aimed for the out felid, as far as she could, straight for Vicky or Jessica. Miss Cherry bowled the ball and Luna felt her wolfs strength and smacked the ball. She set off running and watched as it hit Jessica on the head, knocking her phone out of her hand and then bouncing off her head and onto Vicky’s mess of a hair style. Luna let out a high pitched giggle before passing 4th base. “YEAH!” She cried. Her team had won. The girls picked her up and carried her back up to the sports hall, leaving Jessica searching for her phone. Luna laughed as Tim and Tommo trudged up from foot ball to see her being carried. They shrugged and stared, out of sheer amazement.

Luna sat on the hill, the huge grass hill, eating on the soft spot. Vanni and Huska sat next to her; Tommo had gone home to get his dinner. Luna moved a bit closer to Tim, when he looked around, she just smiled at him. He smiled back and she hugged him. He was a bit stunned. Vanni gave him a look and he hugged her back. Luna pulled her head back and smiled sweetly at him. She moved in closer, ready to kiss him, but he got up. She fell forwards and hit her face. Tim was up meeting Ellis, Tommo, Nathan and Uwen. “Piggy back wars!” Tommo cried. Luna sighed as Tommo got a piggy back off Tim. Nathan got on uwen and Ellis on Vanni. Luna sighed and morphed. “Were you going?” Tim called after Luna. She let a deep growl run through her throat and ran towards the woodland part of the school grounds.

Luna grinned as she ate the cream furred rabbit she had caught. It tasted good. She ran to the stream, to wash the crimson blood off her paws. The river ran a brilliant red. She smiled as the ripples ran out from her paws. She lifted her snow white paws out of the river and looked at them. Only her claws where stained a crimson blood red. She licked her lips before she heard the bell. “School.” She muttered. She ran towards her friends and morphed back.
“What were you doing Luna?” Vanni asked.
“I was hungry.” She replied sheepishly, looking forward.

Luna sat in her English class, board. She sat, drawing a star with a lime green highlighter. “Luna! You are now 14 you shouldn’t be doodling!” Miss Kirk cried. Luna dropped her pen and rapidly hid her star. “Yes?” She said looking sheepishly up, seeing Vanni smirk from across the classroom. Luna let a deep growl run through her throat. She looked out of the window, the grass blowing gently in the wind, the flowers being gently pushed, and that’s where she wanted to be. Free.

Luna let out a long yowl as her last lesson finished. She went out into the corridor. It was packed. She sighed and morphed when no one was looking. She growled and barked. The people moved aside, trying to get in the classrooms. Luna walked down the corridor, occasionally barking to show that she was there and in charge. She smiled. She ran out of the door and ran down to the wood on the outskirts of the school.

She looked around. The trees rose high like giant finger coming out of the earth, reaching for the clouds. Tim and Vanni came out of the darkness, Tommo following them. Luna raised her eyebrows and they morphed. Vanni was almost pure black wolf, but had two big white spots, one on each of her ear. Her brown eyes stayed the same. Tim was a big wolf, a big nightmare black one, his ears where brown. Tommo was a light brown wolf and had his sparkling blue eyes still.

Luna went up to Tim and they talked. Vanni and Tommo rubbed their noses together. Luna smiled at Tim, his deep brown eyes filled with shock. “Luna, its pack meeting tomorrow, full moon.” Vanni said.
“Its tomorrow?! I can’t come; I have a social studies project due soon.” Tommo frowned. Luna sighed and kicked a mound of mud. “Stupid school, thank god it’s nearly the summer holidays.” Luna said, half to herself.
“Yeah 6 days!” Vanni cried happily. Luna smiled.
Luna and Vanni walked back up the slope. “Are you coming to sleep at mine?” Vanni asked, brushing her long tail against the ground.
“If you would be so kind.” Luna giggled, smiling. Vanni smiled and the two ran to the edge of the felid. The both looked around and morphed. Luna ran her fingers through her long blond hair. Vanni looked at her.
“Come on, let’s go.” Vanni said. Luna ran after her, waiting for the moon to rise up higher.

Vanni’s house was an old Victorian house that was painted white, but the beams where black. Vanni’s foster parents where nice. Mrs Halloway was rather rounded; she had plump checks and bright brown eyes. Mr Halloway was also rounded; he was a inventor and as such, had often come up from the basement with a face covered in soot. But hey where still fun to be around. Mrs Halloway was a great cook. She cooked puddings, cookies, and really tasty pizzas.
Mrs Halloway would sit at the kitchen table waiting for them to come in. “Now come on in, let’s get you two warmed up.” She beamed happily. She gave them both a big blanket and a slice of pizza on a plate. Luna looked hungrily down at it, her stomach starving. She picked it up and ate it slowly, enjoying every scrumptious bite. She finished it; the crust of the pizza had always been her favourite part. She looked up at Mrs Halloway’s beaming face. “Delicious!” Luna said her mouth full of pizza crust. Mrs Halloway smiled. “Thanks. Are you staying tonight Luna?” She asked.
“If you don’t mind.” Luna said politely.

Luna lay on the guest bed in Vanni’s room, wearing her long pink night gown. She was eating a delightful batch of cookies Mrs Halloway had made her. “Luna?!” Vanni cried. Luna jumped, knocking over the cookies. “NO! There dead!!! There dead!” Luna cried, crying over the death of the cookies. “Luna, we were meant to share them.” Vanni said. Luna sighed. “I was hungry.” She muttered to herself. “Well, I guess the full moon is gonna be pretty lonely tomorrow night. I mean, with the Night pack not going.” Vanni murmured. “You can still go, I just need to catch up on my sleep.” Luna murmured. “Night then.” Vanni said, going to sleep. Luna sighed and got into her bed.

Luna lay, dreaming. She looked up at the stars. “Wait, I can’t see the stars, I’m in a house.” Luna said, then she scream.
“Don’t be alarmed young one. I am Moonflower, protector of the wolf flower. I have done everything can but the wolf flower is dyeing!”
“What can I do about it though?” Luna asked, getting impatience.
“You must come, and bring your tears with you, to the waterfall and let the flower drink your tears.” Moonflower said calmly. Luna looked at her in disbelief.
“But... You must be joking!!!! How can I travel to, where ever?! I have school and a life!!!!”
“Don’t you humans have a holiday? Summer holiday’s I believe?” Moonflower questioned. Luna looked at her, unable to believe her.
“How do you know that?! Have you been spying on me?” Luna cried.
Moon flower sighed. “If you want to live you and your pack will come to the mountain waterfall and you will cry and let the wolf flower drink!!!! If the Wolf flower ides, so will every wolf and werewolf! I hope, for all our lives, you choose the right thing to do.” Moon flower said, fading away.
“Wait, I want to know more!” Luna screamed after her, but she was gone.

Chapter 2

Luna woke up to the smell of sweet, sweet breakfast on the table. After her dream she felt very abject. She looked at her phone; Huska picture had come up, and was flashing. She clicked it and read the message. “Did you have a freaky dream?” She read aloud. She began to text back “Naturally. I was confronted by moonflower. What bout u?” She texted back. The image flashed again. “No..... mine was bout u.... never mind.” Luna sighed. How starkly could she be? She went down the stairs into Mrs Holloway’s kitchen.

Vanni was sat at the table eating her veggie sausages. Luna sat down and smelt the bacon sizzling. It was a one of those days where Luna would stare mysteriously into space while she was in deep thought. She stared at the bacon. Vanni waved her hand in front of her radiant face, but Luna continued to stare. After 10 minutes Vanni gave up and Mrs Holloway placed the bacon in front of Luna. Luna just continued to think of what had happened in her life so far and if she should give it all up. She sighed and got to her feet and walked outside, leaving Mrs Holloway and Vanni gasping in awe at the leftover bacon.
Luna looked up into the sky, hoping her faith in the moon goddess Luna would come to her and show her the way. They two shared the same names, but nothing else was. Moon Luna was calm and understanding, but life Luna was the opposite. She would often race into things and change things that didn’t need changing. Luna and Moon Luna may have looked the same, but they were actually worlds apart.

Luna lay, making a daisy necklace near the Kio pond in Vanni’s yard. She lay down, eating a piece of bacon that Mrs Holloway had brought her. She was laid trying to get every not in the necklace the same. “Luna you’re a Fastidious.” Vanni said.
“I’m not!”
“Are too!” Luna sighed, she knew Vanni was right. She looked over into the Kio pond to see a pinky purple petal floating on a lily pad. Luna touched it and began to feel sleepy. She swayed back and forth, sinking more and more into a dream.
“Vanni, help.” Luna managed to whisper before falling into unconsciousness.

Luna say nothing in her dream, but the pitch black sky with the occasionally star leaving a bit of starlight to beam off Luna’s shoulders. Luna looked up to see the moon shining down on her. Out of the moonlight a young girl danced, she was about the same age as Luna, and looked quite like her, but her long hair was pure white, with the slightest sliver highlights. “Luna, you must save the wolf flower.” The girl said. Luna sat, floating in mid air, looking at her. She tried to say something, but no words came out. Luna found herself nodding to the moon goddess. The moon goddess nodded back before flying away. Luna began to wake.

Luna woke to see Vanni’s face looking down at her. Mrs Holloway was with her, a old china tea pot and small cup in her hand. The herbal tea made Luna shiver. Mrs Holloway had no idea what herbal tea did to a werewolf, it made them become wolf state for 28 hours, and that wasn’t gonna happen. Luna pushed away the tea. “No thanks.” She managed to splutter. She looked at Vanni. Vanni shrugged. Luna sent her a I’ll tell you about it later look. Luna looked up into the pale blue sky. The sun was warm on her flesh, and the wind whipped though her long blond hair. Luna managed to get to her feet. “Sorry Mrs Holloway, but Vanni and I have to be somewhere.”

When Mrs Holloway went in Luna and Vanni morphed. Luna ran into the wood near the back of Vanni’s yard. Luna looked around, enjoying the way the wind ruffled in her fur. She looked at Vanni. Vanni’s long, silky, black fur blew gently in the wind, the wind danced along her black coat. Vanni’s brown eyes where set on a wolf over in the corner. Luna went over to the wolf. The wolf looked up terrified. Luna gasped as it ran. Vanni nodded to Luna and they gave chase. “Wait we only want to talk!” Luna cried as they ran through the under growth.
Luna leaped over the fallen tree, at last cornering the wolf. “Who are you?” She asked, trying not to sound threaten. “I...I....I....” The wolf morphed to a 12 year old girl. She had long brown hair that gleam in the sunlight. She had husky blue eyes that sparkled with fear. Luna morphed too. The girl gasped. Luna looked at her. “What pack are you from?” Luna asked as gently as she could. The girl looked at her and then at Vanni as she came, still as a wolf. Then the girl swayed on her feet and fainted. Luna sighed and picked her up. “Let’s get her to the clearing.”

Luna laid the girl in the clearing, hoping she was ok. Luna and Vanni sat there. Luna told her about her dreams that she had been having. Vanni nodded all the way through them, like her neck was broken and the wind was moving it. After Luna had finished Vanni got up. “It’s about 5 o’clock. This little girl’s parents will be wondering where she is.” She spoke softly. She got down and went into the woods, to return 5 minutes later with a leaf. She ran it under the girls nose and she woke instantly. The girl looked up.
“P...P....Please doesn’t hurt me.” She stammered sacredly. Luna laughed gently.

“We won’t, just tell us a few things ok?”
The girls sat down. “So.... Who are you?” Luna asked gently.
“I...I...I” She stammered
“We won’t hurt you,” Vanni murmured. “Promise.”
“I...I’m Faith..... Faith hopeheart.” The girl said slowly.
“And you’re a werewolf.... Are you not?” Luna asked
“Yes, I am, but you two are right?” Luna nodded.
“Tell us how you ended up here.” Luna said gently.
“I...I was walking home from school... Yesterday..... And something inside my head told me to go to my aunt’s, so I set off, through Cherrypool woods like I always have. Then I tripped and hurt my leg. I had to stay there for the whole night. It was so scary.” She said, and ran her finger along her face, till she came to a tear. “After morning came I got up and started off again, but I lost my way, and then I ran into you two.” Luna nodded and got up.

Luna and Faith began to walk towards Vanni’s house, Vanni having gone on ahead. “So, your a were wolf?” Luna asked. Faith nodded. “And your family are also were wolves?” She asked. Faith nodded. “Good, good.” Luna began to mutter to herself. “So where does your aunt live?” Luna asked.
“72, Neptune avenue.” Faith said quietly.
“So you’re not In a pack?” Luna asked gently. Faith shock her head. “Then do you want to join Night pack?” Luna asked. Faith gave her a funny look.
“Maybe...I can find my way from here. Thank you.”
“Will you give me your answer tomorrow? Near the fallen tree?” Luna asked, and she let out a small sigh as Faith nodded, Luna watched her go and went back to Vanni’s house.

“You did what?!” Vanni cried.
“I asked her to join are pack, big deal.” Luna sighed.
“Yes, it is a big deal Luna! You can’t just go off, inviting every werewolf into our pack you see!!” Luna sighed, Vanni could go on like this for hours. “And, and you never even asked me!” Vanni said, going into a sulk. Luna sighed and went to the bathroom to get changed into her jammers. Vanni let out a big sigh. Luna looked out of the bathroom window. If Luna and Vanni went off on this mission, then at least there would be one girl left behind to look after Tim and Tommo. That is, if she joined and If Vanni would go with Luna....

Luna went to her bed and lay down, looking up at Vanni’s plain ceiling. It was a normal white, with the rumpled waves in it like every normal ceiling. Luna sighed and remembered the stars she had seen 24 hours ago. She rolled over onto her side and looked out the window. One single star shone, all on its own. Luna looked up into the night’s sky, and remembered the many stars she had seen. Where ever the wolf flower was...... It was untouched by man..... It was natural, it wasn’t in Florida.....

Luna looked around. It was morning. The sun was shining in through the window; the dawning light warmed her head and her heart. She slowly got up and yawned, starching out her arms as high as they would go, her fingers reaching out for the stars that should shine above her head. She began to wake up properly; her mysterious green eyes seemed to fill up her face, looking around for anything out of the ordinary. Luna began to cry, she didn’t know why, but she cried. Luna looked up at the ceiling to see and leather skin case hanging from the ceiling. She reached up and grabbed it. She opened it to see a bit of water at the bottom, her tears.....

Luna raced down the stairs, passed the kitchen, passed Vanni and into the yard. She went straight to the Kio pond and poured the bottle out. The water glimmered for a second and then she looked deep into the water, to see a sliver cliff, water tumbling off it. It was a water fall. Luna ran inside and grabbed her camera and took a photo of it. She ran inside and leaped onto the computer. Vanni looked over her shoulder. “Are you ok?” Luna nodded and typed in key words that looked on the photo, like waterfall and sliver cliffs. One picture came up on the computer, the same picture. Luna moved the mouse and clicked on it.

The waterfall was deeply placed in Alaska. Luna slapped her head. How would she get there? She looked up the detail. “This mountain is inhabited by wolves and is extremely dangerous. It is called Wolf falls. “Figures.” Vanni muttered over her shoulder. Luna laughed, a laugh as in, how do we pull this one off?

Luna looked into the setting sun, its light blocked by a cloud. Luna saw the pink and orange rays shoot across the sky, the clouds long and still. She walked with her school bag over her shoulder. She looked around before racing towards her house. She looked around before opening the door and going in. She threw her bag onto the floor and sat down. She looked across; a note was on the table. “Gone shopping, love mum.” Luna sighed and scrunched the note up. She looked up at the ceiling. It was very modern compared to Vanni’s. Luna sat at the table and began her homework.

The night’s sky covered the sky, its stars shining like a million little candles. Luna sighed and sat down. She looked up into the night’s sky. The many stars glittered down on her, the starlight turning her blond hair sliver. She sighed. Luna looked up one last time before heading down to the barn. The barn was a old wooden barn and a cute one at that. Luna went in and opened the stable door. She grabbed a set of reins and went over to Moonchest. Moonchest was a black horse with a crescent moon on his chest. He was Luna’s favourite horse.

Luna mounted him and sat down, after putting the reins on. She told him to move and they went for a gallop around the field. Luna loved riding at night and sharing a close bond with Moonchest, it was even better. Moonchest knew that Luna was a wolf, but he also knew that she was no threat. The two would race each other, enjoying winning and laughing at when they lost. The best part about being a wolf was that Luna was able to talk to the entire barnyard animal and that is what she loved the most.

Luna went in and sat down. She ate a small sandwich, licking her lips. She got up and went up to the bathroom to get dressed for bed. Cream, her cute kitten, curled around her legs. Cream was a light cream colour, with her legs a sandy cream. She had dazzling blue eyes that shown like sliver stars. Luna smiled down at the cat. Once dressed, Luna morphed into a wolf and talked to her. What’s up?” She asked.
“It’s just that, well I’m a cat in a wolf’s house.” Luna laughed
“And what about kitten?”Luna asked. Kitten was Luna’s little sister. She was the only were cat she knew of. She had long blond hair and creamy yellow eyes. She looked a lot like cream when she morphed. Luna sat down on her bed and slowly went to sleep. She lay there, deeply in sleep.

Luna woke in the morning. She got up and got dressed again. She looked out of the window. A fox was heading for the chicken house. She growled and morphed. She leapt out of her window and landed in the pool. She scrambled out of it and ran over to the chicken house. “She growled deep in her throat. The red fox spun around and snarl. “A guy, this should be fun!” She growled and ran at him. She leapt on him and bit hard on his leg. She clawed hard on its face. It scampered out from under her and ran off. “And don’t come back!” She yowled after her. She growled lowly before walking off.

Luna was walking to the beach, yet another Monday off. She was with Tim. “Tim, I need to go to the woods. Faith said she would meet me.” Luna said.

“Ok.” Tim said. The two morphed and they ran to the woods.
Luna stood, her claws dug in to the earth, Tim beside her. She looked across at him, he was cute. Then she realised she was starting to stare at him. She whipped her gaze back to the clearing. Faith was there with a boy. He had fiery red hair and bright green eyes. He winked at Luna. Luna looked at him, he looked odd. The two both morphed. “ah, so you’re a werewolf as well?” Luna said, looking at the boy.
“Yes he is, I will join, but only if Todd can.” Faith said, looking at the red wolf.
“That’s fine with me.” Luna said, smiling. She nodded to them before turning and walking to the beach. “Where are you going?!” Todd cried.
“To the beach.” Luna said back.
“We’ll come to!” Todd cried.

Luna sat in her swimming costume, eating one of the sandwich’s she had packed in the picnic. Todd and Faith came running up. “You might want to take Tim his sandwich, we buried he in the sand.” Faith giggled. Luna sighed and morphed. She went and dug him out. Tim tilted his head and hit the other side of his head, some sand came out. Luna laughed and hugged him. Then she realized what she was doing and pulled away. She looked up at him, he was blushing.
“You wanna go for a swim?” Luna asked. Tim nodded and ran to the sea.

Luna was there, with a air bed, floating on the water. Tim was playing with Todd and Faith. Luna lifted her sunglasses. “What’s up?” Luna asked. “Croc.” Tim whispered.
“Crocodile!” Faith cried, running to the sand. Luna screamed Tim and Todd ran out to the beach, leaving Luna. Luna morphed and dived in. Tim morphed and called to Luna.
“Lead it out then we’ll fight it!” Luna raced out as fast as she could. Tim and Todd, now in wolf form, dived on it, biting hard into its leathery skin. Faith also in wolf form came and fought. The frighten croc turned and ran. Luna lay on the sand, her leg bleeding. “It bit me.” She said and began to lick it. Tim can over with a towel, rapping it around her leg. Luna looked up at him, his eyes sparkling.
